Here is someone told me about thai consulate

"Be careful if you're on a visa run, i've been told yesterday by a friend that the consulate issuing visas is not at the same place anymore, check their website for more info.

He also told me you can now apply morning and get your visa afternoon the same day."

I would like to know where should i go to get visa? Are they moving to other place? Or still the same one? I looked on google and it show me this map post-176127-14189085819039_thumb.jpg

And other question, while we are in Laos for visa, do we have to get Laos money or thai money is ok there too?? (For hotel, food, bus, etc.) and what about Thai visa, can we use thai baht?

They moved a few months ago. It has been discussed in the Savannakhet visa topics.

There is a map here on consulate website. http://www.thaisavannakhet.com/savannakhet/th/consulate/contact/

You pay for the visa in baht.

You can use baht for most of your expenses

For Laos visa 1500 baht or 30-35US$, how long it will be good? Only a day for for a couple day? I will be in Lao from 21-23 dec, should be ok with that visa?

The Lao VOA gives you a 30 day entry.
