That which was never born is deathless. Is this "awareness"?
In the teachings of the Buddha, there are a number of high level elements. If I am incorrect in these, please advise me. That which was never born can never die (deathless). As our ego is an accumulation of conditioning over our life/lives, it is impermanent. Death is followed by endless cycles of re birth into future lives, driven by attachment to craving. The cycle of re birth continues, until one is awakened as a result of practice resulting in the quenching of craving. Is the process of deep meditation (awareness without thought) the path to becoming aware of the unconditioned or deathless state (this state already exists, but we are unaware of it)? If so, is this that which is common to the re born states? Is this that which "awakens"? If there is nothing beyond the cessation of re birth, isn't this annihilation, as at least re birth gives you future cycles of life, all be it, good ones as well as bad ones? Or, if pure unconditioned awareness is that which continues, why are we unaware of it during the unconscious state? -

OP, you have correct answer above. Two weeks is fine, however the visa once issued will have an enter date till date. That means enter any time in that 3 month window and you will be stamped in for 90 days. Personally I would book the flight and few (2-3weeks) prior apply for the non O visa. Be aware that you have a fall back option. If visa unsuccessful (won't be) you enter Thailand visa exempt. Use agent to obtain bank account and then you obtain non O at local immigration office with minimum 15 days remaining on exempt entry stamp. With visa exempt currently 60 days you have plenty of time for the process. -

(Actually, they are not so new anymore. But I managed to avoid them until now) What ViaBus calls "38/3-8", that's what ordinary people call "bus 38"? The sign on the bus may read "38", or "3-8", or both? What Google calls "3-11/48", that's what ordinary people call "bus 48"? The sign on the bus may read "48", or "3-11", or both ? Am I correct? (I just guess) If ViaBus and Google don't agree, which one is probably right? BTW Google recommends walking on the water of our local Khlong for about 1 km (that's not even a shortcut) - do they mean wading (it's only 2-3m deep) or swimming? -
