Citizen application requirements for people married to a Thai ?

I heard that a direct citizenship application is less hassel and expense than a PR application. Does anyone know what the requirements are for someone married to a Thai ?

In short you have to be married for 3 years and be on consecutive extensions of stay (1 if you have a child together) and be on a household registration book. You also must be working in Thailand with a mimimum income of 40,000 baht a month (the more the better).
