Chiang Rai accomadation

Hi Guys,

Looking for somewhere to stay in Chiang Rai for 3 nights. Not to far from the city but somewhere with a nice view and surroundings. Budget is around 1500bt per night.

Any recommendations? Thanks in advance!

Check the rates and availability on the river hotels like the Dusit, Imperial, Legend and Le Meridien. Unless you are on the river you won’t get much of a view in town.

As for the comment about walking to the White Temple, not much chance of that if you are anywhere near town.

The temple is around 12 km from the market, so it would be a very long walk. According to Google Maps it would take 2.5 hours to walk.
