I have a new Isuzu pickup and have been told the first payment to the finance co is due 2 months after the date of collection. Is this correct? It seems strange to me that the first payment is not due 1 month after collection from the dealer.

No worries, if they tell you '2 months' it is in 2 months.

6-8 weeks after delivery is about normal. You will get payment instructions and due date in the mail.

I purchased a new isuzu pick up about 2 months ago also with finance and received the payment notice within the first month. Each month I receive an invoice I can either pay at the bank or the post office. Couldn't be easier. What model did you buy ?

Guess each finance company has there own rules. Just bought a new Mazda 3 and paid my first payment when I picked the car up. It was part of the closing costs.

My motorcycle payment with krungsri was 9 weeks and all forms were blank when i picked up the bike.
