So with all the clatter and noise the whole matter was ignored by the hotel staff and its seems lone security staff member?

The building's security guard said he found nothing suspicious during his midnight patrol of the sixth floor and did not know of the incident until office workers alerted him in the morning.

Might be a time to check this characters banking transactions of late and monitor his movements for a few weeks too.whistling.gif

Agreed... especially with your selection of the word "ignored". Spot on!

I wonder what would happen were someone to check in and begin banging away at the walls at, say, midnight? No way this was not heard. This is almost comical.

security guard must be deaf if he didnt hear the drill. mind you they dont hear a thing when sleeping.

That hole looks like the drill was a sledge hammer.

thieves knew the layout of the hotel as well as they know which room to request in order to get to the office. Swissotel Le Concorde Hotel on Ractchada is not that well known and most hotels if not located around sukhumvit are half empty . Its not hard to get by with all the noise. You probably only need four big hits with a sledge hammer and you can get through by looking at the thickness of that wall.

Perhaps there was a hotel accomplice? No security footage from the hotel?
