I seem to have lost my tax sticker on my motorbike . I didn't notice until stopped in a roadside check but the police let me go as all other documentation was in order . I now have a question as to how I can get a replacement tax sticker . I don't have the original receipt as it's a new bike and the dealer who sold it me got the original tax and they didn't give me the receipt that was attached by the land transport office , The dealer has now closed down so that avenue is closed. Any info. would be much appreciated.

1. File a report at the police station near the area where you lost it.

2. Go to the Land Transport Office in Phuket, present the report and your green Tabien Rod of the motorbike.

3. Apply for/receive a replacement of the sticker.

4. Be happy.

P.S.: I am not sure about Phuket, because you did not mention it. But anyway, the procedure is the same country-wide. Just go to the LTO where your bike is registered.

Same happened to my BIL, except his bike was registered in Korat and he lives in Buriram, the LTO in Buriram told him that he had to go to Korat to get a new one.

BIL didn't wanna go and just changed his license plate from Korat to Buriram which took 2 trips to the local (Buriram) LTO. Total cost (LTO Fee) 150 THB.
