Hi, We will be arriving in Chiang Mai 7th of December, wanting to know any recommended guest houses that would be good for a couple of weeks or so to stay, whilst we house hunt for longer term accommodation. Only real want is good internet.

I've stayed a couple of times at the Britannia. Quiet, reliable internet, inside the Old City, very helpful owners who speak both English and Thai. Near to restaurants and 10 mins walks to Tha Pae gate, easy to catch songtaew or tuk tuk from the location.
