Proof of travel itinerary?

Featured Replies

I'm about to apply for a tourist visa and I'm not sure what to do with my ticket(s).

I want to stay for at least 3 months. During that time I want to look for a school to learn Thai and obtain an ED visa. I know that I have to leave the country to obtain the ED visa.

To apply for the tourist visa I need to provide proof of travel itinerary. This includes a return ticket. But I'm not even sure when I want/need to leave the country.

How do you normally deal with this?

For some embassies or consulates a written itinerary of you travel plans will be enough to get the visa.

If they insist on ticket out of the country you could get a one way ticket on a low cost carrier to a neighboring country.

Check the below, it is written about boarding but can be used for visa applications as well.
