I dont know about the rest of Thailand, but sexual jealousy is a complete waste of time in Pattaya IMO - with the exception of married folk who basically live in one another's pocket 24/7 there are just too many opportunities for a partner to stray. Lots of possessive Farang guys constantly Skyping their girls, checking the webcam in the bar online etc - IMO, if she wants a Gik or whatever she'll find a way. That possessive nature seems to go hand-in-hand with Ye Olde Control Freak - forcing your Tilac to perform with another woman for your amusement doesnt strike me as the kind of 'date' I'd be looking for if she really was marriage material, but perhaps times changed and I didnt get that memo. Life could be very different with a 'respectable' Thai woman who works in an office or whatever, but I dont believe that automatically makes her a nun. Stickman has made the point several times that by the time a guy contacts him to do a little surveillance on his GF, the rest is usually a formality - if you think she's cheating, odds are very good that she is. Based on that, I'd save my money regardless of how 'bombproof' or otherwise this technology might be.

So, the way I read it, if one chooses to sign up their gf and pay for this service, they can "make contact" with other people paying for this service.

Example, John is sending Sally money each month and signs her up. Joe comes to town and hooks up with Sally, but Joe isn't a paying member of the site. How does John get to know Joe is hooking up with Sally?

Correct me if I am wrong but basically unless you are both paying towards this site and you are both "dating" the same girl, this service is useless.

Given the ease & frequency by which names & ID cards are changed the only way this could work is by using bio technology as per passports / surveillance systems elsewhere. I suspect the computer crimes act (Thailand) or data protection legislation (EU/US/OZ) will need looking at too.

A Thai national's Thai ID number remains unchanged for life. Some people do change their name, for example when a fortune teller tells them it will bring them good luck, and I don't now if this name change will get reflected on the ID.

Never seen this here before - an ad masquerading as a post. Is this the start of a new policy/trend? Why not at least highlight it as a commercial piece (in the heading), as newspapers and magazines do when advertisers submit pieces designed to look like news articles.

There are men who have lost a lot of money in Thailand believing their girlfriend genuinely loved them when, in fact, the relationship (on her part), was money making exercise and when it was all gone... so would she be.

But that would seem to be the fatal flaw here - that the system only works if a critical mass of subscribers buys into it. Even the most successful commercial websites (ones that do not require paid membership like yours ... the Amazons and eBays of the world) may not have the market penetration you need. In this case, the 'market' comprises farangs with Thai girlfriends - you would need them to sign on in large numbers for there to be any likelihood of a 'hit'. And that would seem unlikely to happen given that people need to pay to play.
