Hi ,I have an audi a4 i bought in Hua Hin and i want now to sell it. The blue book and insurance is in my name at my pattaya address which was done before i drove home quick and easy in HuaHin. But i am wondering if it might be more difficult here in pattaya because the car was not regestered here. Anyone know if i might have problems with this . Any insight appreciated. pete.

if the buyer is in Pattaya you need to change license plate to your new province before you can transfer ownership at the government office of your new province.

you can either do that now or once you have found a buyer. In my opinion it doesn't matter.

I had the same issue and only changed license plate to the new province where I stayed once I've sold the car. Just one more step in the process of changing ownership.

the new owner could get an agent to register the car in their name in Hua Hin, as far as i know from research, pattaya do not change registration of area/number, has to be done in Chon buri,

But Rayong do area/number changes.

I have just done name address change with new to me bikes, changed one from down south registered to rayong registered, and changed one on a Bangkok registered bike using an agent. wife address in Sattahip area ( chon Buri)
