Is There a ''One Stop'' Imported Food Store in Bangkok?

Featured Replies

Is there a 'One Stop" Store Imported goods store in Bangkok? along the lines of The Expat shop in Samui http://www.samuitimes.com/samui-times-readers-invited-turn-expat-food-shop-fantasy-food-shop/or Yorkies http://www.yorkies-pattaya.com/ in Pattaya where one can find decent imported foods under one roof? as the monthly drag round various branches of the chain supermarkets (Villa, Foodland, TOPS, Central) for a 'few bits' here, and a 'few bits there' is becoming a real pain in the backside...

The closest I have found is Bunters Foods http://www.buntersfoodsbkk.com/products.htmlbut even their selection pales in comparison to the above.

There is an excellent Aussie deli on Klong Tan http://www.foodglorious-food.com/ lots of Brit stuff too.

Excellent wagyu steaks and lamb. Sausages were so-so a few years ago but may have improved.

Yorkie's is a "one stop imported food store" ??

huh?

it has much less choice of imported food than Big C extra, Foodland, etc.

I found their selection excellent. I filled up my cab there in minutes without having to haul myself around several different places for hours for the same things....

Nope...everyone has to do the expat shopping bunny hop from shop to shop. However, between the supermarket on the top floor of the Empornium and the Villa Market across the street (and the Fuji Market down the 33/1 alley for Asian stuff) one can pretty much find anything one would need and they're all close together.

The international supermarket downstairs at Terminal 21. Got everything down there...

Cheers Boxclever, I'll look into it over the weekend.

Hardly.

Yes, Yorkies has no imported products, only fairly bland "home-made" pies and bacon that shrinks to nothing in the pan.
