craigp Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Just thought I'd try this, I have an older nissan NV, good condition, LPG and I want to P/X it for a big bike. Anyone interested or know where? I'm in Chiang Rai. Thanks.
craigp Posted December 20, 2014 Author Posted December 20, 2014 hmm.....Not sure to both....98 I think. It's 1.6 12v so I assume it's (i) I recently had a load of work done to get it tip top. (Battery, exhaust, tyres, ball joints, oils, LPG, brakes, etc) It's pulls and drives perfectly. I've got it advertised here- http://www.chiangraifocus.com/forums/index.php?topic=666039.0
seedy Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 I think - I may be wrong - but the models with the small rear window were carbureted. Looks good !
craigp Posted December 20, 2014 Author Posted December 20, 2014 You could be right.....I just don't know....lol...and Thanks. It's a very clean and tidy one.
mgjackson69 Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Pardon my ignorance, and I think I understand the gist of it from context, but what is "P/X" ?
craigp Posted December 20, 2014 Author Posted December 20, 2014 'part exchange' Use my truck as part or all of the payment, depending on the bike. Guess it's a little strange if as it should be P/E.... We always seem to use P/X in the UK.
macknife Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 I can't see a bike dealer taking a car as PX.

The implication is that the "trade-in" is worth less that the vehicle being traded for, and that is usually the case. 1

No doubt my truck is worth less than any bike I would be interested in, so I would have to part with some cash to. It was a long shot but worth a try. One of you boys may have too many bikes and need a truck.......
