Tie down straps in Chiang Mai?

I prefer a rope and a trucker's hitch. All I need is one rope because ties can be continued as long as there is enough length in the rope. It comes apart as easily as it goes together.

Do you want ratchet ones or cam buckle..

Multiple plain cam buckle and small ratchet at helmet2home, the motorbike helmet and protective gear on Sriconchia opposite siriwong (??) bookshop..

Theres higher quality ones and bike transport specific in burning shop

Also global house has small and large ratchet ones as does nana screw..

For light roof rack duty I would think helmet2home would be your best bet.

Baan and Beyond at the back of Airport Plaza also stock a big selection of ratchet tie-downs and the cam buckle type too. Ideal for light to heavy loads but Id guess not a great deal of weight is going to be placed on a roof rack. I agree with LivinLOS that helmet2home has a good selection and better quality than most.
