Where to buy Copha (Vegetable Shortening) here in Bangkok

Copha is similar to what Crisco used to be: hydrogenated vegetable oil. However, Copha is hydrogenated coconut oil. I suggest that the OP go to a baking supply store and look to see if they have hydrogenated coconut oil on offer. It should be in the margarine section of the store.

I agree with your suggestion of trying a baking shop store. There is a nice one by my apartment on Rama 4 road in Lumpini, across the road from the Lumpini Tower office building. I am not sure if it is Copha or not but they do have vegetable shortening there and for your information the Thai people refer to it as white butter. It is also about a third of the price you will pay at Lotus, Villa or Foodland.
