Photo Printed on Canvas

Featured Replies

Dear All,

I'd like to get a photograph printed onto canvas. It is a photo of a person (including body, not just face). I don't know the correct term, but I'd like it "stretched over a frame", so I can hang it on the wall, like art. I'd like to get it printed as large as possibe - maybe about 100cm x 60cm or so, or as large as the photo resolution allows.

1. Where could I get this done in Bangkok. Any recommendations? (I live in Bangkok).

2. Approximatley what would the cost of this be?

Given that canvas is textured and not a glossy surface, then I am guessing the resolution of the photo is not as critical as it would be for a glossy print and hence I'm hoping that I can expand the photo with an acceptable quality. It is a 3.6MB file taken with a Samsung S4 camera. Not ideal, I know. Is there any way to enhance or improve the image before printing?

Many thanks in advance.

I get Chris Coles prints from jpg 12mb onto canvas 100x80cm at Art Factory ground floor MBK opposite side to department store (from memory next to McDonalds). Print cost 1800 baht frame an additional 800Baht.

Thanks CheckInn99, that's great info. Perfect.

Can Chris Coles help with enhancing the image and air brushing it etc. to make it look its best? If not, I guess he can point me in the right direction.

Cheers.
