Popular Post The stuttering parrot
Political unrest is the key reason for the decline in tourism. The Thainess the general has shown by taking the country by the barrel of a gun pretty much sums up his thainess . Martial law, suppression of free speech by the press and tourists getting stopped and searched are just a few examples of junta thainess But don't blame the junta they are all about bike lanes and Indian weddings you know the important things. And don't mention bikinis or koh Tao that didn't happen.

jlwilliamsjr18
What's Thainess? There's a long term argument over Thailand vs. Siam. Siam was all encompassing, whereas Thailand had different roots. "The word Thai is not, as commonly believed, derived from the word Thai meaning "independence" in the Thai language; it is, however, the name of an ethnic group from the central plains (the Thai People)." Wikipedia And what of the people of Lao, Malay, Tribal, Lanna...decent. It's just one big "HAPPY" family.
Popular Post Manbing
I think the theme of 'Thainess' is going to be prolific across upcoming TV threads. It's such a rich field to pick from.
Popular Post falangjim
I'm still waiting for the PM to make good on his offer to write wholesome lakorn. I imagine him sitting at his Remington typewriter donned in his favorite bikini searching for inspiration. He takes a look at the Rath Thai paper draped across his desk and diligently taps out: "Two quality tourists entered my country. One was an unattractive European female who would feel safe wearing a bikini on the beach. The other, a middle-aged balding man (he ponders for a moment) fresh off a sex tour in Cambodia." "NO! NO! NO!" Prayuth squeals. That is not what I meant to write. He starts again. Minutes tick by. Then hours. The small bin by his writing desk begins to fill with crumpled drafts. The spaghetti straps start to feel tight around his shoulders. In the distance a gecko calls. Angrily, he pushes himself from his desk. "Damn it to hell, this is hard!" He then books another overseas jaunt to spread Thainess to the world.

Bocking
Increase tourist arrivals with a Discover Thainess campaign? .. Perhaps a better idea would be to designate the whole of Thailand as a ‘WhoDunit Theme Park’ .. Wannabe sleuths from around the world can arrive in Thailand, choose a crime or scam that interests them, and reveal it to the world via Social Media. Prizes for winners could include: Get Out of Search Free Cards, a list of times when the Grand Palace is actually CLOSED, a free independent Jet Ski damage survey .... etc etc etc etc Edited December 29, 2014 by Bocking

Ladyboys are very clear on their sexual identity and who they think they are. Admittedly they do confuse and in cases cause others to question their own sexual identity.

Popular Post Lupatria
'Discovering' Thainess is easy. Just interact with any Thai on any level and you'll soon be scratching your head saying, "That's amazing". 'Understanding' Thainess is impossible. I just accept that 'This is Thailand' and they don't do things here the way we would back home. PM to launch 'Discover Thainess' campaign I read the article three times and never read where it explained what Thainess is or how they wanted tourists to 'discover' it. If I were TAT, I'd be very selective in the kinds of 'Thainess' I let the tourists discover. never read where it explained what Thainess is It’s a myth used to create the questionable imagination that all good on this planet has its origin in Thailand and it is a precious gift to all who share this opinion. It can also be used in term of a very slight apology for all the things going wrong here without losing face. In other words: It is simply B.S.

Popular Post Lobo4819
I can just see the booths at Lumpini Park: one for zit-popping display, one for nose-picking technique, another with a dozen or so staffers playing on Facebook and ignoring attendees, a table with several sleeping on it, many empty Hong Thong bottles, and the officials denying any of this is taking place..... what a festival of Thainess!!

Popular Post Thaddeus
Thainess is existing in a world where the only thought in the head is "I'm Thai, I'm perfect, I can do what I want" This would not be a problem if there was only one of them, they would just be labelled as a sociopath, a danger to normal society, and be locked away. Unfortunately, there is more than one of them. Westerners notice this attitude when they are on the receiving end mostly, but they do it to each other too.
