BTS and MRT electric trains to run until 2 am on January 1 and 2

BANGKOK, 31 December 2014 (NNT) – The service hours of BTS and MRT electric trains in Bangkok will be extended to 2 am on the nights of New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.


According to Bangkok Metro Public Company Limited (BMCL), the service hours will be extended from midnight to 2 am for the two nights. The last train from Bang Sue Station, bound for Hua Lamphong, will depart at one minute past 2 am on the early mornings of January 1 and 2. The last train from Hua Lamphong to Bang Sue will also depart at one minute past 2 am on January 1 and 2.

Bangkok Mass Transit System Plc. (BTSC), the operator of the BTS skytrain, also confirmed a similar extension of service hours on the nights of New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Skytrain service for all routes will be available until 2 am, on January 1 and January 2
