Popular Post willyumiii
It seems that every week there are two or three new post about overstays. Two day overstay, Two week overstay, two month, year and more!! How can anyone be so casual about their status with immigration? Why is it so difficult to stay in compliance with the regulations when you know months in advance when you are requires to take care of business? Then to come on TV and ask for help and advice like they should be pitied and we should sympathise with their plight like they are being abused by the system. My advice: Be a responsible adult and do what you need to do when you need to do it. Is it any wonder immigration look at so many as irresponsible fools when so many are? What you do and don't do reflects on, and affects many more than just you. Like it or not, we are all lumped together in the eyes of some. I don't like it! Just saying!

We don't all live in the perfect planned world. We fall in love (!!), get drunk or simply loses track!! I am a planner, but I fully understand people, who occasionally get lost. Not easy for a first-timer when Thailand comes crashing down on you, with the heat, the smells and the ladies!!

Often.... and can happen to anyone, as you know, but some research before leaving would be the planning part of the piss, poor

windbreaker
I think the recent rise in overstay posts is down to the potential blacklist legislation should they ever put it through which isn't looking like happening at the moment. I'd also go along with the "mind your own business" replies as there are some folks who have had all manner of problems only to find themselves in the mire, who probably need and deserve a little friendly, non judgemental advice also I know of several blokes who have a few quid so paying the 20K fine once a year or so beat having to deal with the ever changing red tape, Edited January 8, 2015 by windbreaker

Nope. http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/788273-is-there-any-limit-on-back-to-back-tourist-visas/ Unless you call having to show 20k in cash to IOs a restriction?
