The one guy at the shop told me that it's actually produced by a brand company. As far as I remember did he mention Samsung.Will give it a try and post how much I like it. January 12, 201511 yr i had a number of lava phones over 3 months at the beach where few other phones were available for replacement. one stopped working after 2 weeks, 2 got small cracks on touch screen and stopped working entirely. these phones were not abused. finally i went for an ausus zenphone 4 and it has outlasted all of the lavas. i wouldnt buy one again unless i needed a cheap replacement where none other was available.

The phones are essentially made for LAVA by Chinese white label manufacturers. LAVA has operations in Hong Kong also nowadays, but it's an Indian company.
