UK visit visa for 2 people possible? ( husband & brother in law)

Featured Replies

Hi there,

I'm just wondering as I've looked everywhere whether it would be possible to sponsor my husband and brother in law to come to the uk. My husband has been over on a visitors visa (before we were married) with no problems, but I was wondering if it would be possible to act as sponsor for both? Is it just a question of having enough funds for both?

Obviously I know it's not ideal, I want to get my husband a spouse visa but the new regs are making it difficult.

Yes, possible. As you say, enough funds to cover both their visits, ample accommodation and two convincing reasons to return.

As said above, no reason at all why you cannot sponsor more than one visitor nor why they should have any difficulties; provided the criteria are met.

Remember that they will need to make separate applications and each pay the fee.

Thanks :)

I used this forum to get the husband his first visit visa and its been very helpful.

Should be ok and doable then. Although it now looks like we are going ahead with the spouse visa, so I'll be applying for one of those for him and then a visit visa for his brother ( good thing I'm not scared of paperwork!)
