Unconfirmed (by me) advice from a work colleague is that PR Applications have been opened today, with a 30 January deadline for submission.

Can the experts urgently check and hopefully confirm.

There is a notice posted today on the immigration that may be it. I don't read Thai and I have requested a translation of it.
The title of the notice in Thai.
" ประกาศสำนักงานตรวจคนเข้าเมือง เรื่อง การเปิดรับคำขอเพื่อมีถิ่นที่อยู่ในราชอาณาจักร ประจำปี พ.ศ.๒๕๕๗"
Google translate: The Office of Immigration of the application period to be resident in the UK for the year 2557.

I think the UK part is a translation error
