faraday
Under £300...? Doubt it very much, it's probably bait & then when you try to book it, it's somehow not available.

grabitanrun
The Etihad price is on their booking system, so it's legit, wasn't really looking for cheaper, rather recommendations on airlines you've had good experiences with. I normally fly Emirates but they want over £500 for same dates / times and I've heard that Etihad have vastly improved since my last flight with them around 8yrs ago :-)
steve187
If Etihad is £300 book it, do not waste time, ps have you booked yet

dean008
I don't especially wish to appear rude, but £300 return LHR- BKK is pretty much unbelievable and the people finding such flights might be very lucky as the minimum I can find is about £450, or wrong. According to BA, with regard to a return flight to Thailand, taxes and fees are as follows " Taxes, fees and carrier charges for the entire journey are approximately £369.76 - £574.76 per adult and are included in the prices above." With air India the fees and tax are £420 I suspect some people are quoting the base fares.
steve187
the tax and fees for lhr/bkk return are about £150 the rest is fuel surcharge
ThaiPauly
Why is it that we can't get any good deals flying from Thailand to the UK?
chiang mai
Looking six weeks ahead, China Southern at £500 or Malaysian at £600, both to LHR return. http://www.momondo.com/flightsearch/?Search=true&TripType=2&SegNo=2&SO0=BKK&SD0=LON&SDP0=03-03-2015&SO1=LON&SD1=BKK&SDP1=17-03-2015&AD=1&TK=ECO&DO=false&NA=false#Search=true&TripType=2&SegNo=2&SO0=BKK&SD0=LON&SDP0=02-03-2015&SO1=LON&SD1=BKK&SDP1=18-03-2015&AD=1&TK=ECO&DO=false&NA=false
Lancashirelad
On the cheaper Etihad fares be sure to check the total travel time. Can be 21 hrs+ with a long layover in AUH.
CharlieH
Why is it that we can't get any good deals flying from Thailand to the UK? Agree totally, why do they jack the prices up for booking the opposite direction. Same flight etc etc. Yes, before some smarty pants says its a business , its a commercial decision, yeah we know all that , but that doesnt make it right or fair for the consumer.
