Mexican food fans in Bangkok all know of Jorge, famous for his passion to bring authentic Mexican cuisine to Bangkok. Recall he pioneered the highly regarded Tacos & Salsa on Suk Soi 18.

After a break from Thailand he is now back on Sukhumvit as Sabroso Mexican Grill on Soi 23.

Yummy. My 3 smallish carnitas tacos with 3 nice salsas w/ bottle of water came to 170bt.

Just about a block down Soi 23 on the right.

That place serves mediocre UK style mexican food.

Sorry, but there is no "authentic Mexican food" in Thailand. Not even close. La Monita's or elsewhere:)

I ate there again last night....the chorizo cheese thing he has is superb!

Thanks Smokie. Last night, I ended up re-connecting with Jorge on his Facebook page and had a good long look around at the various menu items he's doing there. Looks like some very nice dishes as shown by his photos. I'm planning to head over there in the very near future as well!
