Yep....probably not importing then....LR had the highest dissatisfaction/warranty repair rate rating at 400+ next highest was 190s at one time.......don't know if better now or not but looks like there are a few new around CM or I keep seeing the same one...nice looking car.....

Don't agree. Owned a 90 (would then be called defender). Been member of the Italian forum that prepared trips to Africa. until now and haven't heard anything out of the ordinary.

PS: about defenders, anything in Thailand that is not officially imported from land rover, is just an older model (88, series II, series III) to which they have changed the front panels.

I had an old model "A" when I was a kid. It would go anywhere I pointed it. The secret is the skinny tires. They cut through snow and mud and don't get bogged down.
