If you run Adobe Flash you need to read this.

Adobe has announced that it has released an emergency security patch to try and fix a fatal security flaw in the Adobe Flash software.

The new security patch fixes a problem that could potentially result in users becoming a victim of cybercrime and hacking.

The security flaw in question affects users of Apple, Windows and Linux operating systems.

Since Flash Player is always vulnerable, you always check to see if you have the very latest version installed.

Already been addressed. Upgrade to 16.0.0.287

Until next week.

Irony?

I studied a couple of reports and they write about TWO security leaks of which one is fixed with 16.0.0.287.

But a fix for a second one will be available "next week".

The reports STILL advise to deactivate flash player or setup for "activate on demand".

BTW: for youtube I have long switched to the HTML5 player which seems to be available for most of the videos.

(no full HD 1080p so far, but I don't feel the need for)
