Thank you for that link. I am surprised by the tax lavels in Germany.

What is most surprising is that the rate of taxation remains almost the same despite the increase in salary.

For example, the total tax for a singe person (including pension and health) for a salary of just 20,000 Euros is 44%. For 100,000 it only increases to 46%.

I would expect the person on the lower income to have a lower rate as we do in the UK.
