Easiest way (except taxi) to travel from Suvarn to Saithaimai with 2 suitcases

Hello,

I have to travel from Suvarn to home again soon.

I never want to take any taxi anymore in Thailand.

There is always problems show up when I take a taxi.

Either huge price problems,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, or a big car for 10 people take you than you have to pay double even if you travel alone,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, or very bad drivers often(can not drive a car proper) (it makes you sick),,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, or disturb you by shouting in his mobile phone( private calls),,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, or old cab has very bad sound from everything in the car even the sound of the motor ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,or they always drive first to a petrol station to fill gas with the meter on of course,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, or they never find the address you want to go and they always leave you far away from the address you want to go than you have to walk,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, or they try to drive with light speed,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, or the cab is not always clean but smell terrible,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, or they have the air con on max so you freeze to death,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, or they take the longest road if the meter is on,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and they look at you unrespect fully there you order your taxi plus the driver never smile and never say something nice.

Here I have counted 13 reasons but there are more , I am sure about it.

Not to think about you can be robbed by a taxi driver or they rape you and they can even kill you. Once a taxi driver took 600 baht from me to Sai tai mai EVEN IF WE DECIDED A FIX PRICE FOR 400 BAHT BEFORE I TOOK THE TAXI. You can never trust a taxi driver in Thailand, it looks like they are all criminals who has just come out of the prison.

I WILL NEVER TAKE ANY TAXI IN THAILAND ANYMORE.

So what is the easiest way to go to Sai Tai Mai Bus Terminal from Suvarn, do you have any experience ?

I know one way there you take the Airport Link to Makkasan and walk from Makkasan to Phetchaburi ( I don't know how easy to walk that road ), and take the line to Hua Lamphong, and take another line from Hua Lamphong to Sai Tai Mai.

There is another way ; Airport Link to Phaya Thai, change to Sukhumvit - Asok, and to Hua Lampong, and to Sai Tai Mai.

Another way ; To take a bus to Donmuang and take a shuttle bus to Sai Tai Mai , if there is one. I don't know.

However at the end I have to find another way to come home. Maybe a flight to Kuala Lumpur and bus or train to Hat Yai Thailand, and another bus home, they do even have Hat Yai - Phuket.

It'll be interesting to hear what is your experience.

Cheers

Yermanee is spot on, but somehow I guess you also despise that.

You should have used your brains a little more and simply tell us what the final destination is-so many vans to southern places leave from around Vict. Monument-just a 1 stop on BTS or fairly short walk from Phyathai.

Maybe people now come and tell you bus 556 runs from Makkasan to Sai Thai=thats nonsense now-cancelled at least 1,5 yr ago. 556 now runs Democr. Mon-SaiTHai-SalaYa-Wat King Rai-and is much fuller as it ever has been before.

There simply is NO easy way to do it by publ. transp.

IF you can handle the cases on a 10 min walk along broken pavement and full of vendors:

ARL to Phyathai-walk south-turn right other side of Phetburi rd-walk on till King Phet stop/Diamond HTL-wait for 511 and DO make sure it runs to NEW Sai Thai-many turn back due to traffic jams Sukhumvit at OLD Sai Thai. Will take at least 2 hrs even with light traffic-sunday morning. Forget it completely in rush hours.

Alternative is bus 515 from The Vict.Monu-just 1 stop on BTS-via new Sai Thai to Sala Ya-also horrendously overcrowded and jammed in the rush hours. It makes no sense at all to go via HLPong-thats just making it much more difficult.
