I know a great amount about car buying in the UK. But (like most things) it will be totally different in LOS.

So how does it work? In the UK only an idiot would buy without getting a discount, there is always a discount! Dealer and manufactuer. Also better deals on buying on finance than cash...

How does it work in LOS?

The PCP, personal contract plan is popular over here. With the riduculous used prices in los that would work great? Are they available?

Lease is also popular with private buyers now?

I would like some info on buying used too? I remember a few years back picking a free autotrader selling mag, is this still going? Any links appreciated.

Thanks in advance...

It's not really totally different, use your common sense, bring some who speaks and understands Thai and the process with you and you should do ok.

Most times you can, just takes a bit of common sense and observation.

Wow, Yankee99, how do you like being put down by, presumably, one of your countrymen?

If you're happy buying from a dealer go to one2car.com. They're all dealers there, you don't need to bother too much about all that "common sense and observation" that WarpSpeeed has oozing out of his pores.

Well stated Yankee especially since it wasn't a put down, but miss chezzi only likes to instigate, it makes her feel important and relevant, (now that was a put down)coffee1.gif .
