I have better things to do than spend time researching for you old chum. This from April earlier this year.... Just as an example

http://www.miltonkeynes.co.uk/news/local/could-tottenham-hotspur-be-moving-into-mk-dons-stadium-mk-1-5982805

So 2 articles speculating that it was an option is hardly broad knowledge it was gonna happen, as with every large project all options would have been discussed with all parties and tactics would/should have been in place.nothing 2 substantiate it being as you speculated and alfie said it was always gonna happen, it wasn't, the plan was we were gonna stay in the lane and not have to move.

Great attempt to sidestep the issue. If you look closely at the plan, and if you know anything about programmes and project management you would see with the latest round of infrastructure enhancements it would be impossible to deliver in less than 4 months (close season). It was obvious to almost everyone that, in order to comply with Premiership rules (and satisfy local policing and therefore council approvals) that a season away from the Lane would indeed be necessary.

It became obvious when the final plan from the council was published in October 2013. The plan together with the details of the required CPO and the associated infrastructure enhancements revealed that the project was likely to be delayed, though nothing at that point was certain. Tottenham's requirement was to have the council provide a £13m contribution to fund the high road infrastructure enhancements. This £13m added to the Mayor of London's £28m made a total of £41m. In addition to this a further £54m investment has been made by transport for London to improve Tottenham's rail/bus infrastructure. So that is £95m public money which need to be properly project managed and incorporated into the overall programme. It is little wonder that with the scope of the undertakings, notwithstanding the CPO, it was considered highly unlikely the new Stadium transfer could be made during the closed season of 12 weeks. The full extent of the likely delays were revealed in the new year and then alternative stadium stories emerged. I think you will find discussions with MK Dons are at least 9 months in the making.

In an ideal world the discussions would have taken place and (your tactics) contingencies would have been developed, but the appeal against the CPO put all of that on hold. It is a huge £500m programme which needs to be inclusively managed. Any piecemeal solution would fail miserably IMO.

The further away, the better. Inverness might be able to fit them in,

Capacity 7750. Probably OK for the gooners when they are in league 2

We haven't been relegated in my lifetime, but you have.

How else would you have seen your team win a league title?

Added: Tell a lie, you couldn't even win that one.

Is there truth in tabloid rumour Spurs on the market for £1BN?

Every club is 'on the market' if the price is right

Not strictly true anymore when you consider the wealth of Citeh and Chelsea. Theres no price on them if the owners wants to keep his toy

admittedly it would PROBABLY have to be a doubly stupidly large amount of wdge andprobably grossly excede the clubs market value , but if the figure was right, they'de sell,

I'd disagree, Carmine's point is correct particularly in City's case there is no figure

Don't be silly, he's an Arab, build a big enough pile of money and he'll bite your arm off.

They know how to bargain.

Then he'd probably buy Everton and repeat the process with his winnings.

Stereotypically he would bite your hand off and a bit more when you're not looking. Though I reckon the only reason these owners would do that is for one-upmanship, not for the money.
