Is there someone here who went for a Chinese or Russian tourist Visa recently? Phones nor Emails get response. Therefore, I am putting the questions here.

I am boarding the Trans Siberian in Beijing to Moskau in July. How early can I apply in Bangkok to the respective consulates? I have a PDF invitation letter from a recognized agency. Are PDFs accepted or must I request the original from St. Petersburg and Beijing?

I have lived in Thailand longer than the period reqired to apply for a Russian Visa in BKK.

Has any one of you taken the Wed,K3 Chinese train at 11.22 to Moskau via Mongolia?

Any tips?

I obtained many Visas for visiting China, but from the UK, very easily, but a letter of invitation is required.
