Thai opinion: The Ugly American is alive and kicking

Featured Replies

Interesting topic, and I do agree with TAH and others who say people outside of Thailand don't really care what is going on in Thailand.

I said the same when the coup started and some posters were harping on about the negative reaction from other countries.

The other countries would have said - "Ho hum, another coup, how many is that now ?"

Meanwhile the vast majority of the tourists who visit Thailand know (or care) about as much about the political affairs of the country as the average Thai knows about what is going on overseas - ZILCH ! thumbsup.gif
