Hi All
Can anyone please advice me on the below query?

I am thinking of applying for spouse visa under Cat F application and there are certaing requirements as posted above such as CT600 and audited account.

1. Tax return need to be filed for the accounting period which is generally 12 months but can be decreased to 6 months. Can I complete the tax return for 6 months and show the required earning?

2. I am a contractor working through my company and being the sole director. I raise invoice which includes VAT, on a weekly basis and get paid in my company bank account. I then take a minimum salary and dividend after paying corporation TAX and VAT. So should I show my earning from the company bank account which gets gross payment or through my personal bank account which shows NET payment.

3. will the VAT received be counted towards financial requirement?

Many thanks again

I think you will need to show your CT600 for a full company year, and the corresponding accounts, also for the same full accounting year. It doesn't matter if you actually met the requirement in one month or six months or one year. UKVI want to see a full year's accounts.

If you are meeting the financial requirement through salary and dividends, then you must show wage slips and dividend vouchers that confirm your income meets the financial requirement. You also need to provide your business bank accounts ( which will confirm the business income), and your personal accounts which show your salary and dividends being paid in ( and corresponding to the dated wage slips and dividend vouchers) from the business account.

The VAT will be shown going into your business account. Your evidence of income ( through salary and dividend) will be shown in your personal account.
