I made some lemon curd today.

It was something I liked as a child so I thought I would give it a go.

Warning. Lemons from Villa are over 300 baht/kg.

It worked but it didn't taste as I remembered it but had a sharper, more tart taste.

Having made it this morning I used some of it in a lemon curd slice this afternoon. That tasted quite good according to my handpicked taste testers (family and neighbours) and only my son was brave enough to come back for some more.

(memo, raise son's pocket money)

Been making lemon curd for a while now. I use juice from a bottle and the zest of a couple of limes, so it's lime curd really.

Lovely on a piece of toasted home made bread.

Slightly off topic but this lemon tart from Blue Pumpkin, Siem Reap last week was the best I have ever tasted.

(the mille feuille wasn't bad either)
