Dropped by the AIS/Telewiz chop at Big C Extra and used my Thai DL to register the SIM; took less than a minute.

I just checked the *151# option and although it confirms it is registered, the passport/ID number linked to it is wrong. I will do it again later today.

Did mine at the True shop next to Tukcom on Pattaya Tai yesterday. Gave them my mobile and passport and it was all done in 1 minute.

Also did mine at Telewiz in Lotus north Pattaya.

Passport of which she took a phonto and I was out of there in 2 min.

It is easy, isn't it? I did that at the DTac office in South Pattaya. Copy of passport, everything good... only to find out it still wasn't registered and I had to go back to a DTac office to go through the process a second time.

Did mine last week at the AIS shop on the upper floor at the Big C on Pattaya Tai sukumvit. Took all of 2 minutes with my passport.

It will say E (for slower Edge network), 3G or 4G (if phone can use a 4G network). Sometimes, it will switch from slower to faster or faster to slower, depending on mobile traffic.
