Job at international school with an MA TESOL

Prior to doing an MA TESOL I would like to know whether it will be of any use in securing a job at an international school here in Thailand. From what I gather, Masters in Education and or home country-based teaching certifications e.g PGCE in the UK seem to be the normal requirements along with a number of years actual teaching experience. At present I hold a BA, a TEFL cert. and several years teaching experience at university level.

A master degree is of little consequence unless it is in education.

A teaching qualification from your home country is what is required. (Although I have seen Canadians with Australian certification etc.)
