How to get to Hua Hin Immigration Office from the railway station to apply for a re-entry permit?

Hello!

I'm going to Hua Hin Immigration Office to apply for a 1-year extension to my Non-B visa

and a re-entry permit very soon. I'd like to ask you some questions now.

1. I've got all the documents ready for the visa extension now. What else do I need for

a single re-entry permit? Maybe an air-ticket to fly out of and back to Thailand?

2. Looks like the office is located 4-5km north of Hua Hin Railway Station. How much

does a shared taxi or a bike taxi cost you?

Thank you in advance.

About 70-80 Bat on a M/C Taxi, I doubt you will get a shared ride unless you are coming with someone?

You could also walk to Petchkasem Road and get a Songteaw (sp?), about 400 yards from the Railway Station, not sure if they go direct to Immigration but they do go up Petchkasem Road and the Immi Office is off PR

Hello Aquaman2016!

Thank you for your info. I've just checked the location on Google Map

where it still looks a bit too far to walk from the railway station, I would

say.

You do realise that the Immigration Office has moved. It is no longer 4-5 km North of the station. It is now near the King's Palace.

What soi is the turn off Petchkasem Rd. please?

You mean it is no longer where the map shows it? Have you got the GPS coordinates for the new address?

It's at the place as shown on the map in post #10. Was there last Friday 27 March 2015.

So that's where the palace is, in Hua Hin 19. I had forgotten its location, having visited it over 20 years ago.

Nope. The Royal Palace is a bit more south. It's the empty spot on the map.
