Taxi airport to Sukhumvit..

Featured Replies

Good evening,

Have a friend coming to Bangkok and he's going to stay in lower Sukhumwit. Soi 4,5,6 around that area. What's the fare nowadays ? Just give a hint..

Meter + 50 Baht + Expressway tolls if any. 300-350 should cover all.

Should meter less than 300,100 for tolls,50 airport levy.

Used to pay to lower Sukhumvit: 210 meter + 50 airport tax + 70 tollway. Meter rates gone up recently so maybe a bit higher, but not much.

Ok, thanks a lot guys...You been very helpful..have a nice evening

If he goes up to arrivals and hops the turn gate, he can get a metered taxi and not pay the 50 extra and not wait in a long ass line.

Do the airport security people try to stop someone from doing that or they don't really care?

And if economy is the key, why not take the Airport Rail Link to Praya Thai then BTS to Nana?

Nana is not the place for you if 350 Baht is make or break!

Never have had a problem getting a taxi at airport in taxi queue - always around 300B with tolls. Going to airport is different from Nana area. Expect most taxis to tell you 500B - no meter. Sometimes a simple refusal will get them to turn on meter. Otherwise expect to wait for a taxi that will use meter.
