Yala Big Bike Club holds charityevent promoting tourism

YALA, 27 Feb 2015, (NNT) Big Bike Clubs in the southern region and the nearby Malaysian provinces are holding a charity event promoting tourism and boosting economy in the area.

A large number of bikers from the said areas have been seen gathering in Muang District of Yala Province for the southern bike fair. The event, which kicked off yesterday, will come to a close tonight.

The event is aimed at raising scholarship funds for outstanding but poor students in Yala, and encourage tourists to visit the province, generating income for the locals.

The atmosphere is lively at the venue, with numerous bikers showcasing their 2-wheel magnificent beauties for the locals and onlookers to feast their eyes on.

The fair also offers decorating items for big bikes, biker jackets, food and live entertainment.

Had a nice ride down there this afternoon. Although, it would have been more attended this evening, there were loads of stalls and bikes and good times. I really enjoy Southern Thailand. It is a biker's holiday, there is a bike week event at least every month all year, every year. I go to most of them and have gotten to know many influential Thais. In response to a recent TV forum, by far, these bilkers are socially respectable.

SmotherB,

I have attended a few but I don't see too many of them advertised? How do you usually find out about the events?

From Thai riders--a big bike shop should know.
