Market in bophut near traffic lights part of walking street friday?

Featured Replies

Hey all.

Paid a visit to a market yesterday evening in bophut near the traffic lights and was wondering if that is part of the normal fisherman village walking street.

Was a mix of merchandise, food, live music, fun things for kids/teens ect.

I found that market to be more interesting than the standard walking street, because it seems like there were more local food and the place had more thais visiting than tourists.

Is that place open every friday, because that would be worth a visit again when we return.

A few pics below from the market.

This is a usual market that moves around the island to the various Wats and other locations. It usually lasts about 7-10 days then moves on. It in not part of the Fisherman's Village walking street market.

Ahh ok. Thanks.

Good to know it is there several days in a row because then we can revisit it tomorrow before going to lamai :)

Is there any place online to see where it is moving all year around, so we know where to find it again?
