I believe the official length of validity for an income verification letter from an Embassy is 6 months

Can anybody confirm Chiang Mai Immigrations rule

I have seen other Immigration offices in Thailand saying not longer than 1 or 2 months

Just to give it a bump and get a little bit of clarification.

Are you talking about how recent it must be or how long it guarantees you will get that income.

I presume as it is for a one year extension they are looking for one year assurance.

Don't know how old the letter can be when you take it in. I had heard two months but that was a rumor.

Thanks for the replies

Yes I meant how recent it needed to be , sounds like 6 months and less is applied in Chiang Mai

Cheers
