Hi all, one question that may help others as well, do the Affirmation forms need to be compleated by "hand written" in the appropriate designated spaces (..................) or "typed in", cant seem to find any answer to this. Need to get this right before we go to the British Embassy.

Also on the form can anyone tell me what to put in these spaces (below) or are they filled in at the Embassy.

(3) I have for three days immediately preceding this date had my
usual residence within the district of the British .....................

(Consul-General, Consul or Vice-Consul) at ........................

Regards, Roger.

Hi Roger. Probably too late in your case, but I would say a general rule of all legal forms like this is that typed or handwritten is fine, it's the signature and date that counts. Let me know if your experience was different though.
