Apartment/Condo rentals in Hang Dong area

Featured Replies

I am looking for a place to live in Hang Dong area or nearby (closer to old city but not in town is okay too). I see many houses for rent but no apartments in Hang Dong. Are there affordable options for nice apartment type places available in this area?

Thanks in advance!

There's Oneplus Nineteen condo along Mahidol Rd, just before the turn into Chiang Mai Land. Also, there's a Palm Springs estate in the same area (opposite side of road) which have small townhouses for rental.

Canal Road in the Hang Dong direction has some new condominium buildings. Most of those would technically still be in the city (muang) district. There is another one on the Middle Ring in between the Hang Dong Rd underpass and the Canal Road.

Question though: why the combination of a condo and living out of town? I can see the benefits of either, but then for a condo I'd want it to be in town, but for an out of town location a house with a garden gives you a lot more space.

smile.png Good question. It's just because I'm solo. A house might be too much, I'd just like a nice smaller space that's cozy. An apartment like in a divided house or a little teak house would be perfect but it seems like the options are several bedroom houses or condos.

There any number of options and depends on what your needs are .For example if you are happy to eat out there's a load of hotels on the Canal Road around Hang Dong that would, with low season on the horizon ,give you a very good rate on long term stay with no utility bills (electricity, satellite TV and water) One in behind Yumee Pizza comes to mind and it has a pool.

Visit Serene Lakes and check out their rentals: a new exclusive mooban, separate condo and house sections ... between canal road and airport so very handy to all amenities and restaurants.

Urbana townhomes behind BigC Hangdong Rd suffer aircraft noise and the newer Mae Hia development is a bit hidden away yet only minutes from BigC.
