People that claim that they wouldn't change much in their lives after gaining a fortune, suffer from a lack of imagination.

or are quiet content with their lives...

get a big amount of money

Not being pedantic CC1, but define a big amount of money ?

the size of the "big amount" of money would determine my actions

Posted

I would only change about 90% of my life. The other 10% would stay exactly, I mean exactly the same :)

90%

*Fly first 100% of time

*bigger and more homes around the world

*hotter cars

*boats

*more travel, first class

*more exercise and golf

*help family and the real poor

The 10% are some friends who I would not change

at that threshold very little would change, maybe a bigger house or a few investment properties somewhere (not in Thailand) and maybe a new "flasher" car, don't mean Ferrari, Porsche, AM either

if the "big amount" was say 10 to 15 million USD, that would be getting to the point of where I would be taking dumps on a few peoples desks I know...biggrin.png and then it would a world tour, all first class, taking a couple of years to complete thumbsup.gif oh and I would be treating myself to a DB-9 w00t.gif

And you'd look like a complete twatt in a DB9 with that dirty big boot head of yours.....best stick to your Nissan March with lowered suspension and 23 inch wheels.......suits you ?

You would suddenly find yourself besieged be all your old friends, co-workers, acquaintances, cousins, estranged uncles, and every conceivable charity. You will be forced to change.

I'm going to walk around my mansion with no pants on.....hold on, I already do that, anyway it seems to keep most people at bay.

They would leave you after they got what they could, or not. They would no longer be comfortable around you when you could do and have so much and they couldn't.

I've seen it happen twice.

Sounds fantastic Neverdie. Will the "sheilas" be wrestling?

Having spent all his money on the pool and tennis court it's all he can afford to offer them for lunch.

I would buy land for my daughter. Lots of it. Start a few plantations maybe. Build another house or two while its still cheap.

I would try to get some decent interest on the savings.

Then just carry on as normal. More holidays though.
