at that threshold very little would change, maybe a bigger house or a few investment properties somewhere (not in Thailand) and maybe a new "flasher" car, don't mean Ferrari, Porsche, AM either

if the "big amount" was say 10 to 15 million USD, that would be getting to the point of where I would be taking dumps on a few peoples desks I know... and then it would a world tour, all first class, taking a couple of years to complete oh and I would be treating myself to a DB-9

They would leave you after they got what they could, or not. They would no longer be comfortable around you when you could do and have so much and they couldn't.

Having spent all his money on the pool and tennis court it's all he can afford to offer them for lunch.

I would buy land for my daughter. Lots of it. Start a few plantations maybe. Build another house or two while its still cheap.

I would try to get some decent interest on the savings.

Then just carry on as normal. More holidays though.

A climate and moisture controlled garage to keep my caravan in.
