Popular Post wayned
Tuesday morning the washing machine went on the fritz! Wednesday the car wouldn't start making me late for an important event! In addition, my shoes went amiss at the temple and the outside night light burnt out. Normal daily happenings. However, on Monday morning, my wife, who I have been married to for 15.5 years, who was only 50, 20 years younger than me, passed away after suffering a haemorrhagic stroke on 6 March. She was cremated on Thursday and we spread her remains on the Chao Pryha yesterday in Chainat. I don't think that it has all sunk in yet but it was the worst week that I can remember. It all goes to show that the best laid plans by mice and men can change in a instant! I never dreamed that she would pass before me.

Popular Post neverdie
Wayned, I know it won't ease your suffering mate, but you have people half a world away, ones you've never even met praying for both you and your wife at this aweful time. you have had an aweful aweful few weeks and Sadly there's no words to offer you to help ease that. I hope you have a good support network of people around you. If I were in Thailand atm I would drive to your place to give you someone to punch. Take care.

cmsally
You are right, your week absolutely sucked. You need good friends at this time; ones that will let you feel angry, hopeless, sad and then help you pick up the pieces on the way through it all. Sorry for your loss. Popular Post n210mp
Very sorry for your loss Wayned I too am married to a lady 22 years my junior with a type of leukemia that make both of us well aware of the need to enjoy one day at a time, in fact Wan is so concerned that she drew up her own will some time ago making me sole beneficiary just in case she died before me ! I have lost a son and also my previous wife and partner whom I loved very much and at that time thought that maybe life was not worth living anymore. Time will, if given the chance round off the sharp edges of the pain, even now I still can have a little cry when hear or see something that takes me back to those sad times. I used to feel a bit sorry for myself (no not a bit a lot) until I realised that to feel such a sense of grief and sadness I must have had a lot of happiness and good times. it's not nice or a good feeling when you outlive your children or your wife but as I said better to have loved and lost then never to have loved at all. If you feel the need to talk about it then please give me a PM and I will give you my Skype details or Line number Kind regards Harvey Edited March 28, 2015 by n210mp
