Ironman Suspension For Triton

Featured Replies

Has anyone had Ironman suspension fitted to their truck?

My Triton is 8 years old now and the suspension has had it. A local shop fits this suspension, but I have no idea if it's decent or cheap crap.

Any suggestions welcome.

The shock absorbers DO have a life. I would just fit new shocks.........smile.png

Sorry, I don't follow?

New shocks from Mitsubishi - or would you try Ironman?

Were you happy with your ride when it was new..?

Yes. But why not uprate the suspension, lift the truck an inch while fitting better shocks than Mitsubishi OEM?...

Ironman is good - sold through/by ARB....but I'm left wondering what you actually mean by "suspension"?

My feeling is that although the shocks and springs may help, you need to look at the whole suspension and decide what you actually want to do.

If the vehicle is to go off-road or on dirt tracks then you might consider a complete overhaul and then fit the Ironman shocks etc as part of a lift job. How much is up to how much suspension you modify or replace.

Otherwise I'd just re-bush everything and fit new shocks - not necessarily Ironman or mitsu. springs can be tested - I would have thought that after 8 years there would still be life in them yet.

ironman do range of shocks (3 types) too - here's there Aussie web site -

i would put new bilsteins on it, maybe new front springs - that's it.
