I am bricking it... I think I have everything covered but still unsure as to reasons to return.

I can but pray that all will be well.

Thanks to those of you who have answered previous questions.

You've done all you can, so try and relax and be positive.

If the worst does happen, then at least the application will be on file and will be useful evidence of your relationship for any future settlement application.

I never cease to be amazed by the combination of terror and inconvenience that making what is supposed to be a simple visa application entails. And thats if its approved !! If its refused ....well.....

However all the while UK citizens passively accept the current rules , it will continue.

I wish you luck and please do let us know the outcome.
