Depends on the venue. Most start with an entrance fee of 300 to 500 thb which includes 1 free drink. For men dress codes usually aren't that strict but I'd recommend not going there in a wifebeater with shorts and flip flops. T-shirt and jeans are fine.

Nana Disco died years ago but then reincarnated at the same location again and again. If I not mistaken one time it was as Liquid. There might be a club there even now. Give Nana Hotel a call.

But don't get your hopes up even there is. It's probably going to be pretty seedy with a bunch of run-down guys and gals because the action (and talent) has moved to glitzier new discos that have sprouted all over town.

There is just a heap of fat n ugly katoeys in the drive-way now maybe they can give you some disco.

Go somewhere else.. Nice kebabs across the road.

I have fond memories of Nana disco.

It was like that bar in Star Wars - full of weird and odd creatures...and then you had the Nana carpark after the disco closed.

Full of "last call" hookers, ladyboys and oddballs, the odd fist fight and a Nana Burger to close the night down...

Used to be amusing to sit outside on the sofas with a beer and watch the freak show in action.

Never realised there was a dress code for the place

Word has it that the junta will be reopening the Nana Disco to bring happiness to non-Thais. However, those that come not looking exactly as the gentleman pictured above will be taken to the Eden Club for attitude adjustment.

It's a brothel not a club

No, this can't be. My uncle used to go there every Mon. and Th evening. And when I asked what it was about he said it's a chess club, said to come along if I wasn't up to anything and watch older guys play chess over cups of hot chocolate. He said some of them were pretty good and knew lots of tricks. So, of course, I struck the place off my todo list and never went.

And then he actually died in Eden Club a couple of years ago. A bunch of guys brought his body home saying he had played a great game that night and died doing what he loved. So we weren't sad.

Now you tell me. Lord luv a duck. Had no idea.
