Popular Post Commerce
Wrapped in foil inside cut out books? He'd have prob got away with it without the foil showing up on X-ray, having simply used plastic bags. Loser.
Toknarok
5.2 kilos, that's a hellavalot of coke. Don't know the purity but after it's been cut it's not surprising they valued it at over 15 million baht.

Popular Post rwdrwdrwd
Drug smuggling operation involving 5 kilos of coke, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand, all wrapped up with the same individual flying himself to Bogota - sounds like suicide by cop to me. Xonax
X-Ray at arrival in Phuket. Why do I found that so hard to believe? Why wasn´t he caught in the X-Ray machine when boarding in Columbia already, or at least when boarding in Singapore? Why are nobody pointing their fingers at him? bitterbatter
According to the police, a kilogram is worth about 3 million baht. Amazing how police exaggerate the value of drugs just to make their busts seem more important. According to online research, 1 kg in california is about 500,000 baht. That is a 600% exageration

Popular Post kennypowers
An old guy, most likely poor, got a family and kids to support, been trying to get ahead his whole life, manipulated into taking a huge, stupid risk for one payday that would have changed his family's life. Now a son, brother and father will be imprisoned for life in a hell hole due to the ridiculous and unnecessary war on drugs. It has been 14 years since Portugal decriminalised all drugs. Drug abuse is down by half and drug related crime has also fallen massively. Wake up people. Open your eyes. The war on drugs is always a war on the most oppressed and marginalised members of society. If the rich and powerful never profited and only the poor drug runners made well out of it, do you really think it would be illegal?

You almost got it when you said: why didn't the BIB let him deliver the drugs to Khao Lak and bust the top guy.. You then failed by saying: Any way, death penalty would be appropriate. Sit down and think about those two statements. Soon a light bulb will come on. Imagine if he was your son, or your father.

I am basing that off of what I paid per gram on the street about 30 years ago, 500k would be about right assuming price increase.

What has the price in Calif got to do with the price in Phuket? It's like comparing the price of a Merc 500SL in California and Phuket clue they are not close!
