Martial arts groups near Nonthaburi?

Hi

I don't know if general is the right forum, but here goes. I have recently moved to Nonthaburi, and I really miss some martial arts training. It's not a problem finding a muay thai gym, but that's not really what I'm looking for.

Does anyone know of any groups that does escrima, jeet kune do or something similar in this area?

Thanks

2 choices, your area is the Bangkok forum for localised knowledge or there is the Muay Thai forum.

I will move this to the Bangkok Forum for localised input.

In all honesty, your never going to find a genuine qualified instructor here for JKD and, although there are many philipino's here, I highly doubt you will find escrima being taught either. I have studied wing chun for the past 35 years and miss the training with others myself so, I now just teach and train with my 10yr old son, best of both worlds that way as he gets to learn from an early age and I get to join him in training and learning. Problem will be when he gets good enough to beat me :)

Thanks for the help :)

I would love to do wing chun, except I don't want to pay 1000 Baht for 2 hours training he he

I guess it's either muay thai or weight training for me.

If he's charging 1000 baht for 2 hours private onr to one training that's cheap! I charge 2000 baht an hour for private lessons! Maybe he's not properly qualified at what he does?

I don't know him but I think this guy is out Nonthaburi way: http://www.bangkokwingchun.com/

This guy spammed the page of a martial art related facebook group I was a member of. I looked at his profile and he's a full on conspiracy nut. He had a load of bizarre anti-jewish stuff at that time.

Thanks for the input but Phoenix Gym is muay thai, thanks for the help though.

Maybe it's just me but I just can't see the reason of paying 1000 baht for a training session or more. Fine it's a niche but that doesn't make it reasonable to me. If people want to pay that much, ok up to them :)

There is a bjj and muay thai place called emac martial arts center i used to train at and one of the guys lived in nonthabuti. It took him about 45 mins to 1 hour to get to but he didnt mind. Its pretty cheap to go to as well.

Looking at his videos this guys Wing Chun is is far from perfect looks like a first or second year student and yes I know what I'm talking about I started training back in 1976. Maybe he just loaded some bad video but if he knew what he was doing he wouldn't have.
